Ekpeye's History

This is one of the local craft in Ekpeye land whereby indigenous industry brings to light some talented individuals with inherited or acquired skills.

The products carved in Ekpeye land are canoes, mortar, mortar pestles, wooden spoons, bowls, masks idols/image, musical instruments such as drum (oji), wooden gongs (okwe), walking sticks and masquerades used for cultural dances and displays and rituals.
